Suddenly after a huge group of kids start riding their bikes down into the barn house, leaving the bikes outside. This book had a little something for everyone and I would probably label it somewhere between a level 1 and level 2 book for beginner reader's. “I bet I could ride a bike!” he thought. So he climbs on the tractor, fiddles around a bit, and with a cough and a rumble, the tractor is running. The illustrations are hilarious and exciting in this book, really showing off each of the animals emotions as well. The theme of this story is being brave and trying something that may be challenge. Then more kids with bikes show up and the other animals decide to give it a try.A hilarious, whimsical, action-packed picture book.

Hello, Cow! At first, it seemed just OK. PreK-K,  This book (and an amazing SLP) helped my daughter to understand story telling sequence. Inspired by his own experiences as a child (and the drawings he did when he was little), David Shannon's books perfectly capture how hard it can be to do the right thing. But as I imagined how I could read it in a storytime (with animal noises inflected with what they were meaning), I could see how fun this book could be.

All the farm animals then recall how much fun Duck was having riding the bike that they decided that the idea may not be as silly after all and all the farm animals hurry to the bikes and begin riding them. I would recommend teachers read this book to children of ages 3-8 years old who are not risk takers or who are timid in trying new things.

A duck on a farm is staring at a bike. The oversized animals'' reactions range from "How silly" to "Show off" to "Wish I could ride!" His friends seem not impressed but when given the chance they all jump on bikes too.The book starts by Duck riding around on the parked bike he found. As duck proceeds to keep riding, he passes a cow, a sheep, a horse and a bunch of other farm animals. This is easy to do with this book. Some told him to be careful.
