We had to make a few interior modifications to the drawers inside to accommodate for the way this house had been plumbed, but other then that it was a fairly easy install process.But how fabulous are these huge drawers for bathroom storage? Perfect for organising your bathroom in style, no matter what size it is. It turned out too cute!Loving the lights. And that stuff around the tub? If I had to renovate another bathroom I would definitely consider it again! oh and a friend gave me that same little anthro hook (with a K) and i love it too!! So then I found a mirror at HD that already had them and the price was about $60 – not too bad really.

)Sooooo…I took it back to HD and ended up with a pretty, I ended up with this one because it’s the only oval mirror that had a cleat on the back – so you don’t see any of the hanging hardware. We renovated our kitchen 2016 with Ikea cabinets.

I mean, it’s hard to feel clean if your space feels old and tired and dirty.Which makes updating the bathroom pretty important.But, of course, we didn’t want to spend a lot of money on this project. In fact, you can’t really call it a shower. I just found it while searching for ideas for a Hemnes vanity.Wow!

The Ikea Vanity requires that you select a faucet with one hole, so we topped the vanity with the The vanity light is from the Archie collection from Home Depot Canada, and the vanity is the 42″ white Hemnes vanity from Ikea.

If you know much about electrical stuff I guess it’s not that hard, but I’m not ready to take that leap quite yet. The drywall was completely dry and mold-free; which proves that this was really never used as a shower and just as a tub with a spray-head.We put up new cement board and tiled the whole surround (I will share some more specific details on that soon). I searched both Lowe’s and Home Depot and couldn’t find what I wanted for under $300 (for both the sink and vanity).

I just put similar subway tiles on my shower walls. I actually saw on a blog forever ago that you can actually just buy the brackets/pivots separately at Home Depot and use them to hang a regular mirror.

HEMNES bathroom series. I found plenty I loved…but most of those were around $400. Our son was about that age when we first watched it. I see it is still offered at Ikea, but the one measurement I need is not offered online.

There is one tiny spot where the finish wore off but that happened immediately and it hasn't gotten worse.

(You can see more about those The only major problem we had with the sink was that it only has one hole for the faucet installation – you don’t really think of that until you get to the store and realize all but about two of the bathroom faucets are for multiple holes. Yup. I love how the countertop and sink are all one piece – it makes for easy cleanup.

But it was way too small for the room (about 18 inches tall I think) and the pivot things were actually a pain in the patoot. Can't wait to see, but will probably have to wait for DVD, we have a two year old.I agree with you, the faucet is much nicer without the plate.
