Grand Tower: bigger (450 sq feet), more numerous than its West Wing …

Newer stylish furnishings, no kids in the hallways.Closer to walking N on strip, and buffet. The beds were very comfortable, nice bedding, and a standard bathroom. !You made the right decision as the Tower rooms are much better in every aspect. Best value? Liked the larger Grand Tower and the smaller more up to date West Wing rooms for different reasons.I found the Grand Tower's bathroom to be dated, and didn't really like the shower curtain, I like a nice roomy shower which I got in the West Wing.I loved the Grand Tower room, I think it was the softest bed I had ever slept in. However, the rooms are smaller and the highways moer cramped - you can tell it's a renovation of and old hotel. The bathroom was very nice as well.

Although the renovations are nice, we really prefer the Grand Tower… How does it work? Book the regular room and if you ask they will gladly upgrade you to a West Wing room for free.

West Wing has been remodeled, but it's almost 100 square feet smaller, with bathroom seperated by just a wall from bedroom.Grand Tower is head and shoulders above WW, IMO.

We are going in November and we have a specific note placed on our reservation that under no circumstances will we accept a West Wing room. Closer to the strip...yes, but further from the food court and pool. Best US breakfast? If I chose to stay at MGM solo (unlikely) I would have no problem with a West Wing room.

It was such a timesaver! That happened to us once, we got there and told that we had been "upgraded" to a west wing room because no grand towers were available.

I am amazed that they charge more for the West Wing rooms. Save.

West Wing: small, no view, modern furnishings, and it is the oldest rooms in MGM Grand. They have one small window… West tower rooms are good for people who never open their curtains or want to sleep during the day. I like bright rooms with big windows which the grand tower rooms have, but the west wing rooms do not. The Grand King Premier View, I believe is a high floor room.
