I am looking for a watercraft and of course to me the name I love is Kawasaki but I want something durable since I’ll be using it to rent them! The only thing that can give the Sea-Doo GTI SE 170 a run for its money is the Yamaha VX Limited below. I would avoid anything else if you care about comfort.I am giving serious consideration to either a 2019 or 2020 GTX. The supercharger is under a lot more stress and needs more attention to it.

I like the idea of using regular gas, having a bigger gas tank that’s fuel efficient, and being a bigger guy, feel like the extra HP would be beneficial. I also like that you admit you are a “seadoo” guy up front and still fairly represent all the products fairly by letting the numbers speak for themselves. The trick is to go sit on each model for at least 15 minutes to get a feel of it as everyone’s body is different.

This is because, while the Spark is cheaper, it has its slight limitations in performance. A coffee has been sent your way!Interesting read but not hard to see the author is biased towards SeaDoo (to be fair they did mention this).

I’ve been leaning towards a VX Cruiser HO or GP1800R HO. I like Kawasakis since they seem to consistently have the larger storage and fuel tanks, but is lack of iBR/ride a deal breaker?iBR and RIDE is very nice especially if you’re new to watercraft or when friends ride your machine. Kawasaki does not have a brake option like iBR or RIDE have.At the core level, both do the same thing. Both are the “transmission” names for the watercraft manufacturers. While the VX Limited has them beat on accessories, it lacks one super important thing – horsepower. This is a big deal, less moving parts is always a great thing. Don’t be afraid to take it slow or even use the learning key and other engine limiters that the manufacturers offer to get the feel of the machine before you go too crazy.Sea-Doo – GTR 230, GTR-X 230, RXT 230, RXT-X 300, RXP-X 300The VXR and GTR are the start of the performance watercraft.

Or better yet a 3up Spark Trixx if you really want extreme control over the VTS. It competes very well on price, but the WAKE is in a league all it’s own so that is why I could not compare it to the VX Limited. The storage on the EX is not that great, it’s divided into 3 smaller sections, which makes it hard to store large items like covers or life jackets. A great option is to buy a Sea-Doo Spark or Yamaha EX and then a Sea-Doo GTI or Yamaha VX. Which would you recommend? Along with a better color scheme and adjustable handlebars, the Trixx is for someone who wants to have the most fun possible on a jet ski while the regular Spark is for someone who wants to get on the water. With the lack of a reboarding step and mirrors for both, this is not the best option for pulling tubes or skiers. Usually, a dealer will have 10% of what they normally have carried through to the next year but this won’t be a thing for many dealers. It gives you better control of the watercraft but I would not say it’s a deal-breaker. It’s not fun waiting your turn and driving with another jet ski is a lot more fun than riding behind on one jet ski. I’d like to narrow it down and then shop used, but still fairly new. If you want something more playful, go with the EX, but if you want more of a family jet ski go with the GTI 90. Another question I have is are supercharged jet skis harder to maintain than non supercharged jet skis ?Supercharged jet skis require maintenance every 200 hours depending on the model. Both give you forward, neutral, and reverse.

The Sea-Doo comes with iBR, which is Brakes, Neutral, Reverse, and Forward.

VTS would help with rough water because you can trim the nose up and down to suit the water conditions.Amazing information, been reading different things in your site for 4 hours now. We know they can do a 260HP just fine, do that Sea-Doo, and you’ll have yourself a great watercraft.This is where we have the serious engine performance but in bigger bodies.There are perks over these models compared to the RXP-X 300 and the GP1800R. Also, the accessories you could add later like the stereo system or ski pylon really helps sells the GTX.Sea Doo should listen to you on your fish pro ideas. What sets them apart is that the WAKE 170 is based on the smaller GTI hull with the less horsepower engine. Plus, it’s plenty fast as it is. For the record I am a Yamaha If you pay close attention to the advertisings, you’ll see that the 3 people on a watercraft are actually 2 adults and one child. Please let me know your thoughts.
